How does it work?
MusicLesson.In is a live e-learning platform, which provides one-on-one music lessons to the learners. Here is the step-by-step guide:
On which Video chat platform the lessons will be conducted?
The most common platform is Skype. However, it is depending on the Maestro (teacher), some of them use Slack and Zoom too. Please see the attribute section at the description of the particular teacher to know that information.
How long is one lesson?
The duration of each lesson is 45 minutes. It is the same for all subjects.
Do you need to have your own musical instrument and books?
Yes, you have to have a musical instrument and books to take the lessons from the Maestro (teacher).
What are the main differences between Beginner and Intermediate level
The Beginner level can be categorized as the beginning stage to mid-level, for most instruments it is Initial to grade 4 assessment programmes of any major institute. It can also be categorized in the avenue of Book 1 & 2 of most methodical books like Eta Cohen Violin method book 1 & 2. Please see the attribute section of the description of the respective Maestro and Lesson before you book the slot.
The Intermediate level can be categorized as the mid-level to advanced level, for most instruments it is from grade 5 to 8 levels of the assessment programmes of any major institute. It can also be categorized in the avenue of Book 3 & 4 of most methodical books like Eta Cohen Violin method book 3 & 4. Please see the attribute section of the description of the Maestro and Lesson before you book the slot.
Do we provide lessons on Advanced level?
Yes! We do but on request. Learners are requested to contact us through e-mail to know more about the process. Advanced level lessons are not available in the booking categories, they are request-based service as of now.
Can I book lessons for more than a month at a time?
No! As of now, you can book lessons (slots) for one month only – one lesson a week or 2 lessons a week, or more, for one month and not more than one month. You have to keep booking slots every month.
We may modify this structure in the future.
Will MusicLesson.In organize and arrange the exam facilities for me?
No! We only provide teaching service by our teachers for the respective syllabus of the grade exams offered by reputed organizations like ABRSM, Trinity College and LCM.
The learner has to contact the local exam center for all the information, guidance and also, to apply for the grade exam. The student should also check the respective organization’s website for all the latest updates. There are chances that in order to appear for these exams one may apply online from the website of the organization itself. We suggest you learn more from the website of the respective music assessment program provider.
Is it mandatory to appear for the exams?
No! Appearing for the music exam is not mandatory, it is completely the choice of the learner?

Can I use foreign billing address and bank account/card?
At present, for booking lessons, students/parents will require to have an Indian billing address, phone number and Indian bank account/card.
However, this function/facility may change or get modified in the future. We request you to check the F&Q section periodically.

Autumn International Music Fest
The 1st Autumn International Music Fest & Masterclasses in Hyderabad, India – was an amazing Collaboration between musicians from India & Europe, that took place in Hyderabad, India in the month of October 2018. The 2nd edition of the Fest is presumably going to be held in the end of October 2020.

MMSO and The Association Mozart Italia offering the splendid platform to the talented musicians, students and young professionals of India from the Western classical music background to learn from the European Maestros at the International Master-classes, showcase their talent in the Luci Della Ribalta International Festival, in Narni, Italy.
